NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP PORTAL AY-2024-25: NSP 2.0, Login and Apply

The National Scholarship Platform (NSP) serves as the primary application platform for state, center, and UGC scholarship programs for the academic year 2024–2025. The NSP 2.0 portal allows students to apply for central schemes. The online NSP scholarship portal, http://scholarships.gov.in, will host the release of the registration forms. January 2025 is the usual deadline that the government sets for central scheme submissions through the National Scholarship Portal. Additionally, January 2025 will be the deadline for state and UGC/AICTE programs.

Who is eligible to apply through the National Scholarship (NSP) Portal in 2024–25?

    • Meritorious students from SC, ST, OBC, and other restricted categories can apply for NSP 2024-25 pre-matric and post-matric scholarships.

    • Single girl children can apply for the UGC’s PG Indira Gandhi Scholarship by logging onto the National Scholarship Portal.

    • Meritorious candidates from all categories can apply for a UGC scholarship and receive financial assistance to pursue higher education.

    • Minority, special, and EBC students can complete the NSP scholarship form in 2024–25.

How do I register for NSPs 2024–254 via the National Scholarship Portal?

    • Visit the official website of NSP 2.0: scholarships.gov.in

    • Look for the “New Registration” tab available on the top menu, and click on it.

    • A new NSP registration form for 2024 will appear on the screen.

    • After that, select the scholarship from the various schemes for which the candidate is eligible.

    • Candidates are asked to enter their name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, state of domicile, category, and bank details.

    • Then, upload a copy of the bank passbook in PDF or JPEG format with a size of 200 KB and enter the captcha given on the right side.

    • Click on Register to submit the details at National Scholarship Portal 2.0 to get a unique application number.

After this, the candidate will receive the NSP student login details, like the application number and password, on their registered mobile number.
